I agree these two areas are the results of this coin being struck by a damaged die. I'd probably call them die chips rather than die cracks though.

I have a question, if I may, it's off topic, but what is it called when you flip a penny to the reverse and you can see the outline of Lincoln on the coin?

Die chips are common to find. They can happen on a normal coin, or a variety coin. On normal coins they are just die events. On a variety they are markers for those dies. But either way they are just an ID for a certain die. (Not a premium for these, but die events. It is the variety coins that they mean something to identify the the die state. It is the variety that is the premium.

Also-if you see something that looks like maybe from the reverse/back on the obverse/front side or vice versa it (could) be a clash.
