I have found in circulation a 1982 D Lincoln Penny that has excessive amounts of Cuds, therefore they look like pimples. Can you tell what could have possibly caused this and is there any value?

They are not Cuds, Cuds involve the rim.
It is caused by plating bubbles and zinc dust,
a common occurrence in the earlier zinc coins.

Yes sorry those pimples do not add value to this coin—only worth face value.

The slightest puncture of the plating creates the zinc rot under the plating. That is what you are seeing. Spend it before it rots away.

That coin is not long for this world, it will turn to dust eventually as the zinc core continues to rot out.
