Perhaps this cent was run over by a train or something similar. Maybe a car

Cut with wire cutter pliers. Just intentional damage. A train would flatten the whole coin.

Not exactly sure what happened to it but it didn't happen
at the mint so it is damage of some sort.

If the area at K10 on the obverse was the only area, it would look like a ragged planchet defect. But with all the other stuff going on, it's all damage.

This was my 3rd post and the 3rd time I have been told that the coin is post mint intentional damage. I'm going to get a complex and not in a good way.
I'm sorry I do not know what or where a k10 is

Hang in there. Sometimes I look at 1000 or more coins before I find anything good. K-10 is the position on the coin if it was a clock. 10 oclock.

I'm doing this on my cell phone so it's kind of the best I can do. The resolution is so bad that a loop is useless. What tickles me about this coin is that, what ever happened to it, to me, looks like the F in "OF" on the reverse pushed the 'I" in "UNITED" on to the "C" in "CENT" than took its place in "UN(F)TED. Also some of the damage is under the "N" in "UNITED" That's a stumper.

Looking at the images, it does indeed look like damage from somebody trying to cut it in half. It appears to me that a pair of short jaw diagonal cutter were used on the Ease and West sides of the coin - not reaching the center of it, hence no damage there.
