First try with the new photo editor, natural light cloudy day. No loop. Phone

Picked this one up for under$7. Saw another go for under $6 that night. Kinda shocked at the price. Hoping I still grabbed a choice grade. Thoughts?

Very decent example. Perhaps AU58++, extending into low MS. Photos are getting better--not an easy task most times.

I agree. 58 to possibly 63 if indeed MS.

Surprised at the AU thoughts. I do not see wear on this coin. Rims look MS. Agree strike is weak however.

The only reason I posted 58 is the surfaces are tough to read and I'm not seeing the original as struck lustre in the fields. I think your light source may be too low.

Thank you for that feedback! I always seem to post pictures that show the details on marks and strike as that is what I focus on when grading. Luster is an in hand thing that is easier to judge for me but harder to photograph. Plus photos of luster hide marks really easily. If I was posting questions on ms65/ms66 coins I would definitely try and capture more luster.

The new photo editor is a huge improvement for phone pictures but looks like a light box and lens is still on my list of purchase needs.

i'd say thats a pretty good improvement over your previous photos. AU58 or MS63. I'm leaning AU.

the scratch across the right column looks a little deep. the only thing I cant tell is remaining luster especially on the fields.

more big hits than usual for uncirculated, that plus most phone photos hide surface detail, so I think this might be AU58, but if the surfaces are free of rubs then MS-63, pics too blurry to tell if there is a RPM

I don't see any wear or friction. MS-63.
