Hello everybody, I figured I would post my Dansco 7070 I've been working on for a little over 2 years now. When I started this set, my collection was much less impressive than it is now. It hasn't been my main project over the past few years, but I add to it if I can. I'll update you all with pictures when I acquire new coins.

That looks an awful lot like my 7070 would look if it were at all possible to get a 7070. Two thumbs up.

Very nice work @skel. I look forward to you following up as you make progress. So far, my fave is that 1910 Barber dime.

Fantastic!! Keep us updated throughout your journey! So far, I like the early Indian cents, they are very attractive.

Thinking about a gold page?

Thanks! Gold page is a little out of my budget right now, but maybe someday I'd love to!

I'd love to start building one of these sets but the Dansco sets are so pricey and the Whitman ones include slots for a bunch of coins that are essentially unobtainium (1796 quarter, 1796-97 half)

CalzoneManiac, I've picked up a few here and there from local coin shops across several states. They still have them priced at ~$40 so they are obtainable if you take a look around.

Type set update!

Got the 1822 Half Dollar I picked up for $230 cracked out of the "XF Details Cleaned" NGC slab (BS in my opinion). And into my set. Looks even better in person. (The pics show some Pitting in the fields but that's not seen in person). I love it! If it was cleaned, it was a long long time ago and I think it should have straight graded, definitely market acceptable by now. Pics:

After cranking my neck an even 90 degrees, I've come to the conclusion that the bust half was an excellent purchase for the 7070! Well done, and thanks for sharing!
