I just inherited about 30 Kennedy half dollar coins from 1964-1981 I'm wondering if there is any chance these coins, especially the three 1964 coins, like the one below could be worth a significant amount? I have no idea what I'm doing to appreciate any advice.

, glad you can ask us, lots of great numismatic experience here! It is always nice to get an inherited coin collection (since I got one too )! On the numismatic side of things, the 1964s are 90% silver and are always collectable, the 1965-1970 are 40% silver and are also collectable, starting in 1971 to date are copper nickel clad. This is not to mention all the major varieties of both types of half dollars. Also condition means everything here, a high grade gem 1964 half is definitely more valuable than one that has seen light circulation. The yellow box above the typing platform (and also below it) has links on how to upload photos, since we are a very highly visual group here. Stick around here, there are reams of incredible information on collecting anything coin related.

I don't see all the details in the photos, but I like the patina and I think this coin has AU.

Probably nothing overly valuable, from the description and one photo, but as stated above, all halves from 1964-70 have silver bullion value.

it is a very nice silver coin, but probably does not hold great value over spot.

to the CCF It's a nice example of the first year 90% silver issue. Yours is worn enough to be considered a 'bullion' coin whereby value is determined by the spot price of silver.

Agree, just a bullion coin.

At the price of silver this day, the 1964's contain about $8 worth of silver and the 1965-1970 ones contain about $3.30 worth of silver.
If they are decent grade, they may bring a bit more.
