Hello :)
I have what I believe to be a 1911 DDO Wheat penny.

I looked on Wexler's but found no listings for that year so perhaps I am wrong. I would greatly appreciate your opinions on it.

Just circulation flattening. Note all the flattening is the same. on a doubled die, some of the devices are doubled, others are not affected:

Note these DDO examples. See what is doubled, and what is normal? (on the 1911 year, no DDO we attributed) Thus you coin is a normal strike, altered in circulation.

What you're seeing is Machine Doubling. Can look pretty cool on some coins, but it is very common and doesn't add any premium except in rare cases.
