The DDD/Ridge ring issue is found on the single squeeze dies of the cents. Could be the older style of coin crimping. Not a plus for the coin. It could be fading die gouges. Again not a premium for the coin. Just an explanation of what you are seeing: If it is raised on the coin, then there was an incuse mark on the die. If it is incuse on the coin, then the die was not the issue, but damage was the issue with contact added to the coin post strike. (Always help others to see what is/isn't possible for the coin/die/strike/coin contact issues. Go by the results of what you are seeing on your coin) Report this Post to the Staff
