1988 Wide AM Missing Clad Layer

Just wanting to know if this is what I think it is
Looks like 1988 Wide AM Lincoln Penny missing part of the clad layer
I also noticed some doubleing but that could be my eyes at this point.

Wide AM is normal for this year coin. Also 1982 and later cents are not clad but instead plated. Plated with a very thin layer of copper that can wear off from circulation - or just have gotten a bad plating prior to striking.

So the doubling I'm seeing on the reverse is just from staring at it too long? Lol

Below ONE CENT near the rim looks like DDD. (From an aging die, that just affects the fields at this point) If the devices are reduced in size then it could be Machine Doubling. You can see it better than us from the images provided.

Since most of the plating is missing from the "protected" areas on this cent makes me lean closer to poor plating rather than wear....Keeper in my eyes.

Is not missing plating. Under the Mausoleum we can see the best significative part of the coin. This it is an acid interaction, it is very clear.
