Going thru old tube of 1960 lg. date cents found these exact same 3 cents. Not sure what type of error. Thanks

Yes a die chip, but fun to find three coins struck by the same dies at virtually the same time. It could be fun to keep them together as a group.

They are all from the same dies. Thus the repeat of the chips. They were probably found in an original rolls.

Well the continued use of that die could create hundreds of thousands more of the same die event. So you might same and give one to a new collector that might like to start his own show and tell files. (You just can't stop a collector talking when the subject of coins come up) Put them in a tube and label interesting, but common stuff for show and tell to share in formation to a new collector. What information you learn here should be shared to the new collectors of the future.
