The medallion with her facing left seems so out of place to me. Cool.

2000 Australian Royal Visit 50c with the Vladimir Gottwald effigy. The only circulation coin in Australia (and as far as I know), the whole world, to use this design.

Australian Silver Jubilee 50 cent coin

The reverse shows 25 conjoined crowns. I wonder if they will do 70 of them this year.

And Ian Rank Broadley one.

For some reason, NZ coins are not showing the Jodi Clark effigy yet, wallpaper NCLT coins from this year still have the Broadley one.

In colonial territories like Fiji, early coins of Queen Elizabeth had her crowned like these.

Let's-Celebrate-Queen-Elizabeth-II.

Later coins showed her crowned but similar to other Commonwealth nations using her portrait.

Let's-Celebrate-Queen-Elizabeth-II.

Fiji never went past the Raphael Maklouf portrait from 1986 to 2010 when she disappeared from their coins.

Updated equestrian portrait on the 1977 Jubilee crown (Silver proof):

This weird outline portrait appeared on a rather unnecessary £5 coin struck in 2003 for the 50th anniversary of the Coronation. I think of it as the 'Dutch' portrait as it reminds me of the royal portaits on recent Dutch coins:

Thanks for posting everyone. Some interesting stuff.

I guess it's sort of a big deal for the Queen to be uncrowned on coins, and she gets the call, but doesn't do it often.
