MS-65 BN with an outside shot at MS-66 BN

Lots of small nicks.
But they are mostly in places that aren't obvious.

I usually discount Trueview pics, so I'll say MS-64BN.

same here.

KYCopperCoins, if you can get in hand photos it when you post trueviews it would help a lot.

i typically drop it one grade for trueview. overall the coin looks great using these photos. based on trueview I would say MS66BN so my grade is MS65BN

KY you have been putting up some very nice coins. I think PCGS has been very tough on these brown coins. I hope it's higher than the ms-64 I think it is. It seems like PCGS wants the coin to walk on water to get brown 65 or higher especially all brown. I am curious to know if I have been learning anything.

Fantastic strike for 1925-D. It looks like you have an unlisted obverse rim Cud, too. Nice eye appeal coin.

I'm on the MS-64/MS-65 bubble. Like the upthread comments, I hesitate on the TrueView pics. I'll settle at MS-64 here, but it could go higher.

This trueview is quite accurate, and may actually show the hits worse than they appear in hand. I'll get photos up when I get home of the coin in hand.

I see some chatter and an issue on P of PLURIBUS - hence 63.
But its attractive and glossy so I'll go 64 now.

you do realize that an MS66 coin is not perfect. try starting at MS70 and dropping the grade based on number of imperfections rather than using MS65 as the top grade. do you think that a TPG would drop the coin 6 or 7 points based on a the minor mark on the reverse with a tad weakness on the motto and some very minor marks on some the rev lettering? keep in mind that trueview is going to show every single little mark on the coin. just trying to help with your assessments of US coins
