It occurred to me that some day we'll have a numerical Shelby scale for details. DE-1 could refer to a mild cleaning that has removed surface dirt but not damaged the lustre; DE-70 would be something that has hammered with brasso and steel wool.

Thoughts? It would give us something else to fight about!
