Here is another error coin. Not sure how this happens....but does look like mis stamp or just perhaps damage due to wesr.

That is just damage.
There is no way for that to happen during the striking off the cent.

as for the ' no mint mark' you asked about - this is normal for coins that were minted at the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania mint.

Also note, only one side is affected. If this were a mint error, then both sides of the coin would be affected. Altered normal coin. PSD.

Even if both sides were damaged it would not necessarily point to a mint error.
