Hey guys this looks to be a stamp through, with a huge die gouge on the reverse. On the obverse, the west side of the shield is visible. Is this what y'all are seeing as well?

I'm thinking PMD.

First thought was obverse PMD (imprint from another coin's rim). Not sure about the reverse without clearer images.

Danzil, I'm new and still trying to master good pics (they are a pain) but if you could get some clearer pics it would help these pro's out in here a ton to identify your coins.

the obverse is PMD (vise job I'm guessing) the reverse could be from the same 'vising' (is that a word?) It looks like when the obverse was crushed against another cent, the reverse did not have another coin, but instead padding on it. As you can see the obverse 'ring' and the reverse mottling are in the same area of the coin. (on the left).

Here's a couple more pics. Bare with me guys I'm trying. I could agree with the obverse maybe being a "vising" but the gouge on the reverse is the same color all the way through, leading me to believe it's something that happened at the mint. If the obverse is a "vising" they done a good job, of not damaging any of the devices up north.

Vise job of some sort. Not sure how the reverse came to be, but this is an intentional deception in any event.

The rims are visible from the transfer from another coin. Not a mint issue coin.

I agree with Dearborn and the Frog, this is a vise job. Deliberate post mint damage. Throw it back so another new person can find it and ask about it as well. Keep searching!
