*** Edited by Staff to remove YELLING. All capital letters is the internet version of yelling. Please do not do it in titles or posts. ***

Is this an error on the mint mark with P lettering about the P?

@cur, please stop using all upper case letters when you type your questions. This is the internet equivalent of yelling and not what we do here. Thx.

You probably didn't, some folks sometimes forget or hit the caps lock ley.. and it is interpreted as yelling none-the-less.
Anyway, if you are referring to the stuff above the MM, it just looks like a hit or stain - cant really tell with a blurry picture. If you are saying that the MM is doubled, well can't really see that either.

Agree, those 'features' are not additional P mintmarks.

Earle that is awesome. Dang. I have a ring light and tried using a 3" rubber coupling and it looked no where as good as that.

If it is level with the field, it is just a stain. If would be impossible for that many 'P's to be on the coin. If it were a mint error, then all the rest of the devices would show the same thing. It not a mint error.
