Could any of you share some info on them regarding year (if possible) or approximate date, variations, ruler or state name and most importantly if its real or fake ? Be aware that there a few 'fakes' 'restrikes' 'jeweler's copies' (call them what you wish), in good gold that are normally available. They are a convenient way of storing small stashes of gold within the Indian population. With this sort of gold stasher it matters little if the coin is a genuine original or in one of the categories abovementioned; what is important to them, is that the gold is of good quality.
