No, but always nice to know what it is. 1. Raised on the coin, it is a linear plating bubble. (This will press down with a toothpick) 2. If the mark is incuse on the coin with a flat bottom (trench) then it is a coin scratch. (On zinc coins the gray zinc maybe showing) 3. If the line is raised and can't be flattened, and not perfectly straight, it could be a die crack. (These are die events, meaning the die has an incuse crack, leaving that area raised on the struck coins) While new collectors go gaga over these, most are just die events. When they flow rim to rim, then they are more interesting. CoopHome: Die events or damage or linear plating bubble? How to tell which? (Crack/scratch/linear platting bubble?)

My first reaction is that feature is likely a scratch--a post-strike damage issue. Is that linear feature raised, or sunken (incuse)? If raised, could be a linear plating bubble or a die crack. Given the image posted, I'd say the coin is worth one full cent.

From your last photo the line looks raised which would make it a linear plating bubble. Not considered an error so no extra value.

Yes looks like a linear plating bubble to me too. No premium for this so only worth face value. Also, welcome to CCF.

I'll go along with the rest on this CENT as being a plating bubble.
