Buffalo Nickel No Date/Reverse Orientation

MajorWood New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 06/28/2022 2:01 pm I have had this Buffalo nickel since I was a child. I Actually traded a small nugget of Cali schwag for it. Aha. No date, strange pertrusion where date would be, reverse orientation head to Buffalo. Need some help here. Where the pertrusion is located it almost appears there is lettering around it. I see an "S" maybe? I have never seen anything like this which makes me think somebody is causing chatter over something done intentionally. Hope this is not the case. Also would like to know where it was minted. I don't see any marking under "Five Cents" Thank you Buck! Also wondering about the splash effect surrounding the "nipple".
