I received this as pocket change a while back and am curious if this is a clipped planchet coin. Thanks for taking the time to look and reply!

Welcome to the community! I'll say no on the clipped planchet due to tooling marks and the absence of bakesly's affect.

"Bakesly's affect" or lack thereof does not necessarily have to be present. This one looks too straight to be a clipped planchet. Search on these by using the search box on top left of every page here on CCF.

This is a tough one. I'm leaning toward no, but am not confident in this conclusion. I'm interested to see where we net out on this one.

Looks like a straight clip to me at least.

I'd like to see a vertical photo of the reverse--full, large and sharp.

Looks like a fake to me. No fade next to the affected area. No Blakesley, The ends of the affected area also don't look right.
