I picked this commemorative round up at spot. It's 1.10 ounces ... Exactly a Troy ounce and is about 39 mm in diameter. It states '.999 fine silver' on the edge.

I have found the coin listed for sale but it says the weight and purity on the face.

Any thoughts?

My thought is that you should perform a specific gravity test.

It could be genuine but from a different mint.
These rounds are made by private mints and
each would have their own design.

Is it possible the edge reads .900 fine?

The silver round shown was produced by a private mint in 0.999 fine silver in multiple sizes/weights for the 1992 quincentenary. It believe it is a genuine piece,
