2023 Morgan Peace Dollars Enrollments Online

I have a feeling if they do continue this series these two finishes are almost inevitable.

I decided to return my Morgan (I already ordered a new one). The capsule is covered with lint and even after blowing, I still see lots of black threads inside. I also noticed the capsule has a small side crack on the edge which is probably why I keep getting black lint inside.

I called the mint and they can't send just a capsule so they offered to take the Morgan back. I wouldn't usually send it back but the black threads are sticking to the coin and won't come off even with compressed air. Like super static. Long term with all the threads I am concerned about the Morgan so better to be safe then sorry.

The coins are fabulous. The packaging is just terrible. I would rather they go back to the plain plastic holder for the coins. The link is a mess and made so cheaply that I am afraid it will break down over time.

I wish the cardboard holder was a different color for the proof vs. Unc ones. The Peace dollar does not even differentiate the mint like the Morgan's do. Oh well, first world problems.

Any advice here? USPS tracking of my Morgan's say they were delivered in my mail box today. However, they are not in my mailbox.

I would've done the same. Besides, aren't Morgans and Peace slightly smaller than the ASE's? Probably would've made it difficult to find a capsule to fit just like the original.

I drove to the PO to talk to them, since they didn't answer the phone. The package was mis-delivered. They are working retrieving it for me right now.
