Well it think that @DaRukus660 came up with a good possible cause to the demise of this coin. I'm glad to see you put forth an effort to learn and then teach others about coins instead of just putting up silly gifs

Could be a flat head screwdriver, but when the linear gouges are mirrored on both sides of the coin, I more typically picture wire cutters or something similar. Either way, 100% damage.
