Let me know if you see the doubled die, I have many more photos that make it easier to see I just cannot post them on here due to guideline. Look really carefully and you'll see it. It's saying my other images are still to large I'lltry to post more later but here's one to start with *** Edited by Staff to clarify topic title. Titles are important! ***

Yes, we will need much better images. the 300K max image size is not that restrictive. Many have posted up larger images that show great details. It's a matter if finesse. keep trying please.

@hop, is what you are seeing along the bottom of the letters? If so, it might be damage, but better pics would definitely help as noted by the others. Thx.

What I see is a W and it's raised up printed alongside the w. You can kinda see it if you click on image to increase size. I bought a coin microscope but had to take photos of the screen and then resize the photos to be able to post them on this platform.

The mark on the rim, is also part of the Machine Doubling. A doubled die is not found on any of the areas you are looking at. Depending n the year, the spread will be on the centers of the devices. Not on the outside/inside edges of the devices. Not on the rims. On this coin, the Machine Doubling is seen all in the same direction. But Machine Doubling can be in more than one direction. All caused by a loose machine. (which has not set rules when it is loose) All doubled dies are created on the die during the strike. Machine Doubling never creates a doubled die. A doubled die can have Machine Doubling, but Machine Doubling NEVER creates a doubled die.

@hope, I have taken the liberty of rotating, enlarging, and enhancing your pic. Other than some potential damage along the bottoms of the letters, I'm just not seeing the doubling that you are with the coin in hand.
