At ANACS, they have just 101 16/16 DDO certified. Of these, 30 are graded 1-3 (mine will probably grade at PO-1). I don't have access to pop reports at NGC or PCGS, but I'd like to know what they are if anybody has info.

I decided to send coin #4 (the probable 16/16 DDO) and coin #5 to ANACS. #5 I'm having them research it. I have felt strongly about #4 and 5 being the most interesting in this group. I think there is more than Machine Doubling going on with #5. They go out tomorrow morning. I'll provide an update in a few weeks.

OK, I just got an email saying these two coins are being Fedex-ed back to me. To refresh memories, I submitted coins #4 and 5 (see 1st post on page 1 for photos) to ANACS at the end of February.

Awesome. Truly amazing to find two in the same batch. Amazing to find one - ever - but two in one batch - mind blowing.

To clarify: These were not pulled from one batch exactly- I've gone through counteless batches of nickels from different sources and had put all the dateless combined in one container, so yes these two coins were pulled from this one container after they had already been combined from multiple sources. Then I went through the dateless 1 by 1 and pulled the 9 coins shown on the first page, out of more than 10,000 dateless P.

Oh, pshaw! (Look THAT one up!) I know what you meant and you know what I meant and with all the nickels I go through I can't stand it that I haven't found as many as you!! (Yep - waah, waah, waah!)

mycrob,
I am new to the Coin Community Forums but not to Coin Forums and I wanted to congratulate you on the great finds! When the odds were against you, you stuck with it and came out a winner! Just think what you could do with a couple of boxes of Lincoln Cents with full Dates and details!

Ok, where is the coffee can of dateless Buffalo nickels at? The work never ends. Now, just watch, hours of looking at these and nothing. Joking aside, great finds, mycrob, and well worth the effort. Jim
