I found a this 1993 P Washington quarter with what I believe are multiple errors including die breaks, Cuds, lamination errors and clashed dies. Can anyone confirm my suspicions? I can tell the chip by the 3 is after production damage. But the lettering of In God We Trust also seems strange, there are what looks like lamination errors near the head that seem to be clearly distinguished from a nic or dent. And the mark between the R and I on the back definitely looks like an error. As well as what looks like a die break at the eagles feet Edited by YaddaGurl 07/17/2022 9:12 pm

Given the posted pics, I believe I'm seeing post-strike damage. I don't feel the coin exited the striking chamber in that condition. Others will be along to weigh-in.

Nothing you see on that quarter can be considered an error, everything is damage. Appraisal is 25 cents, so spend it. Almost forgot to the CCF

It looks like a high school experiment on how to destroy a coin the only one that I'm not sure about is the hole below the 3 but Dali believe it didn't leave the mint that way

And a good in order! with the above, also, Heavy and hard objects when dropped onto a coin can do a number on the metal, pushing it all over. If these were die gouges, literally heavy and hard objects would have fallen onto the dies before a coin would be struck, and those features would be raised on the coin, not sunken depressions like yours has, so post mint damage it is.

to the CCF! The coin wouldn't have looked like this when minted. It shows deformation of the rims and each of the pits in the surface show metal movement indicative of damage, not lamination. Here's a Photoshop overlay showing about where clash marks would appear. I don't see anything on the coin that shows signs of die clash in this case. Click on the picture for a larger image
