1983 P WDDO-001, DDO-001, 1DO-001, FS101 This came out of a roll from a previous member. It has a few condition issues but I have yet to come across one of these so it's a keeper till something better comes along. DD- http://doubleddie.com/828823.htmlVV- http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20...3PDDO001.htmCC- http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...ie_state=mdsNOTE: Because of the lack of a die break at the bottom left corner of the building, this appears to be MDS, Stage B. There are quite a bit of die flow lines around the perimeter. Also, when editing the images I thought I noticed a die crack going from his hair to the left side of the W (WE). I'm still not certain if it's a stain or the possible beginning of a die crack. BTW- I don't say it often enough Bobby, but thank you for all you do to keep this site up and running. This is probably an understatement, but it can't be easy or inexpensive. Anyway, on to the coin: 1983 P WDDO-001, DDO-001, 1DO-001, FS101 Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Nice find, no matter the condition -- The only exposed zinc I see is at LIBERTY so not too bad. Quote: "This came out of a roll from a previous member." ?

Very nice find! Always a fun variety to see and not too bad of condition. Zinc cents can always be so much worse unfortunately. Quote: I don't say it often enough Bobby, but thank you for all you do to keep this site up and running. Absolutely, big thanks to Bobby -CH27

Thanks everyone that took a look and especially to those that took a minute to add some comments. JTCC- You're right about the split plating in the early years. It seems to have been remedied. CentSation- The member is no Longer on the forum. CoinHunter27- Yes they can be much worse (but not by much, LOL) I enjoy this forum and thought a nice thank you was in order. John1- They are sold as Fun Rolls to search and usually have varieties in each roll. There was a 1946D RPM red and a couple of red BIES as well. Makecents- I'm pretty happy with it. For the images I used my phone and new-ish scope. I finally got some time to wrangle my new scope into submission, somewhat. Still not real pleased with the colors they turn out. Dearborn- Thanks and believe it or not I missed it the first time looking at it (looking for the big DDR I guess.) I like 1983's but I had to ask myself why would he put an ugly looking Zincoln in the roll and did a double take.

Very clear doubling on IGWT--that Y in LIBERTY is really subtle though.

Varieties from the 1980's are hard to find and should add a premium just for that reason,IMHO. John1

Thanks, Spence, John1, and TB.
I agree John1 and I'm not sure why.
