It absolutely looks like an upside down 2 is in place of the S in TRUST. I went through 2 more rolls of 54-S and none look like this one. There is no blatant rim damage or anything to make me suspect it was PMD. Have a look... Report this Post to the Staff

I suspect, given the pics posted, that were dealing with a mix of Die Deterioration and subtle post-strike damage. It could be that the die had become slightly damaged in the vicinity of the S. The word TRUST is showing evidence of die deterioration--just my opinion. Report this Post to the Staff
