Don't really see any distortion but I do see a quarter that has a lot of gouges and contact marks. Just a spender.

it looks warped around the edge of the coin and it looks like maybe a die crack from the E down to the u on the reverse of the coin the reverse is where I can see the most of the damage but I'm just a rookie lol I have been collecting coins for some years now but this is the first time I have rely used the internet looking for errors thats how I found you guys awesome site by the way I like it a lot

so what I'm trying to say is I have a lot of change I saved from back east everything that didnt look right and took the kids to the beach with the rest and when I moved back to ut I really havent spent a whole lot so I have a lot of questions coming your way because I dont know what I'm looking for yet but with your help I'm going to get it figured out

For this coin, the word you're probably looking for is "bent". The coin has been physically bent or twisted, so it no longer lies flat on a table. This isn't a mint error; a coin can get bent by all sorts of things, usually by getting stuck in machinery of some kind.
I can see the "die crack", running near the rim on the left side of the obverse between the upper and lower legends. It probably isn't a "die crack", but rather, a stress fracture caused by the coin getting bent. Thus, also not a error or variety.
