Looks like it's been pressed with something right in the middle of it. Is it thicker now then a normal nickel?

Damage more then likely but interesting nonetheless

Looks more like two nickels shaved down to make a two headed or two tailed coin. Check the weight, that might be off as well. They probably shaved down the coins to get them exact and forgot the glue/adhesive would make it taller?
