Well I wasn't disappointed at all finding this today along with 3 more West Points from 4 Loomis Rolls from Publix today. (I went back in to see if they had more and those were the last rolls they had) I noticed the silver reeded edge as usual, but it wasn't worn down at all. I even said foreign to myself before I looked at the coins face. I might send this in to get it graded and slabbed because the condition of this compared to others I have seen auctioned at MS66+ and MS67 that were in a bit more circulated condition and some with toning which I can see the value in that. Look at the pictures and let me know what you think. Yay or Nay?

Pics don't show surface details very well, but from what I can see, definitely not worth grading.

Well unfortunately there are a couple issues with this Quarter . The first thing I see is a long scar on his face . Looks like it could be from the top of Georges head down and around to his neck . Hit on left wing of Eagle and the wing tips are worn . telling me this is not an MS coin . Not a candidate to send in . On the brighter side this is an excellent find in the wild . AU-58 .

I guess after seeing so many worn down silver quarters, this one just looked flawless from my POV. I guess I will keep it for later to melt into family crest bars. Thanks!

Looks like a slider AU-58. Still worth a few bucks.

AU58 or MS63. lighting glare is washing out surfaces. just because it was in a roll does not necessarily mean its UNC. this coin would have to grade MS67 to be worth slabbing. Quote: I have seen auctioned at MS66+ and MS67 that were in a bit more circulated condition any coin graded MS would not show any signs of circulation. I'm glad at least you are checking here first before spending $$ to slab a coin. here is a link to PCGS grading for a washington. compare yours to these. pay particular difference between an AU coin and an MS coin especially the luster https://www.PCGS.com/Photograde/#/W...ngton/Grades

Always nice to find silver in circulation. I agree, AU coin, not worth grading.
