Got this guy back in some change yest, while yes he's been around the block a time or two, I'm wondering what's causing h this doubling and enlarging of the elements on the reverse? I first noticed the elements on the front were a lil big to my novice eyes but then flipped over to see that doubling!! Hopefully my pics will show what I'm seeing

Looks like Machine Doubling and extreme die wear on this coin. No listings for nothing that year on all mints on DDO or DDR. Just the two events altering the coin. (die wear/machine doubling) Not a premium for this coin.

That's what I was assuming, but I'd not seen it affect the elements so much, as opposed to the fields

Yes, yes. Machine Doubling coupled with a deteriorating die, with a strong dose of circulation flattening.
