Nice camera work but that is Machine Doubling on the reverse.
Both sides show signs of a worn die.

Yes, machine doubling--nice example. Worn die too. Photos seem to show a possible die crack running from the W in WE to the top of Abe's head.

Steplike doubling that reduces the width of the letters? That's Machine Doubling all right. If it is a spikehead that would be nice though.
