this piece is struck off centre to the Jafferson head....the reverse monticello ...the o is faint and the n has a slight mark to the base left leg of the n....the Five cents...seems to have line through issues...
I am not that clude up on the terminology...and perhaps am simply seen things on the reverse that are of no importace...if one can call it as such.
would like to hear your comments as I have now over 200 coins I have purchased in the last 3 months and have finally plucked up the courage in trying to see if I am on the right track or not in the way of determing whether it is worthwhile to post more.
many thanks for looking

@norm, glad to see you posting—keep them coming! For this nickel, it does appear as though there was a slightly mis-aligned die during the striking process.

This is a fairly common occurrence. By all means keep posting!

I wouldn't call this a significant misalignment.

Thanks so much for the advice...now I have an idea as whether to post coins that have minimal errors....so I will disregard those that I have.
Many thanks to all

What is significant? When the devices fall over the edge of the coin:

Note the weakness on the area of the coin where the alignment is weak on the opposite side of the coin?

Just like your coin.
