This 1924 GeorgeV penny has a something in relief going under both N's in PENNY. It almost looks like it then goes above the second N, but in hand it is not. There is a secondary relief area, smaller between the N and Y. If it is a die clash, what has clashed?
Any thoughts?

@ttk, an overlay would help to identify what detail might have clashed. However, it could rather be a die dent.

Could it be a clash of the collar on the obverse ,seems the right angle and placement?

I agree with Crab...looks like the collar imprint from clashing dies.

It's a well known die clash appearing on several different dates in varying degrees of intensity. Reasonably common too. Often incorrectly called a spur.

How the heck did you do that? Are you adjusting transparency or something?
