Hello all. I'm still trying to distinguish the differences between coins that have been struck more than once and Machine Doubling. After looking at this quarter under the microscope, there are places that look like it was struck 3x, especially on Washington's profile. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

@sher, as this doubling looks shelflike and reduces the width of the features, it looks like Machine Doubling to me.

MD. What does the edge look like between 4k and 10k on the obverse?

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate it. @John1, you asked about the edge between 4k and 10K. Not sure what that means. Sorry, still learning. I did take a look at the edges and rim all the way around and it's textbook perfect. This quarter came out of a mint set, hence it is UC. So no abnormalities or flaws around the rim at all.

It means if you look at the coin like a clock (k) I was asking what the edge looked like at the 4:00 o'clock to 10:00 o'clock positions.
