The dollar shows a double punch...the line runs right around the coin and affects the P mint mark ....it looks like it has been squashed.
The reverse of the coin shows a line running between and below the D of united and the S of states....the last A in America is rather closed, whether that matters I am not sure.
Just going by what I observe of this coin. Is it a keep or bin ?
Many thanks for your time

Looks like Wrapping Machine Damage on the obverse.

...the reverse just looks like some circulation hits.

Might be a die crack on the reverse?

Agree with all above--nice example of mechanical Wrapping Machine Damage. I'm thinking die crack on the reverse, worn down some on the high points as a result of circulation wear.

Thank you so much for the information. Helps me toss aside those that seem to have the similar marks. Should I keep this one ?

As John said, if you like it keep it. Not much if any premium.

Cost of ownership is low so you can keep it as an exemplar until a better example comes around.
