I'd guess MS 66 on this wonderful low-mintage coin! The 79 to 91 Seated half dollar business strike coins are a challenge across all grades! I've been working a set for several years and some dates (85, 86 and 87) just don't show very often. You have a gorgeous coin no matter what it grades! Congrats! Pure jelly!

I see a few more light contact marks on this coin than on the 1854-O Half Dollar. With that said, I think the eye appeal on this coin is superior to that of the 1854-O. I'll cast my vote in at MS-65+, with a strong possibility for MS-66.

Compare this Seated half dollar's surfaces (especially marks) to the 1854-O that was covered yesterday... compare the two MS-67+s and you can plainly see the two coins possess completely different quality surfaces (color is not relevant). http://goccf.com/t/428675NGC MS-67+

You only waited 5 hours instead of 48

Please try to wait at least 48 hours before posting results so everyone gets a chance to chime in.

I think this is an MS-65. Not quite a 67 to me.
The OP can choose however long he wants. However, 24-48 hours is favored, it is his choice whether he wants 5 responses or 20 responses.

Sure is a lot of small marks on this to get a 67+. Nice coin, I just can not see 67+.

Over-and-over again, since 1988, I see NGC over-grading coins with nice eye appeal. Oh, the other TPGSs do the same, but NGC does it more often. I think it is only an MS-66. Apologies CoinFrog. As a courtesy I will wait 48 hours. Check out the new one I just uploaded. http://goccf.com/t/428675

Upon inspection I agree, no way it's 67+
I've heard rumors they give higher grade with eye appeal, now I've actually seen it.
