All devices will look like these if it is DDO-004. If not, then it is not from that die.

@dee, yes can you please add a couple more close-ups of IGWT? That will help us to determine if this is just circulation flattening or a DDO. Thx.

The date alone is not enough to give a positive ID on this variety. Please post close ups of IGWT. DDO-004 is by far the rarest and most sought after of all the 1972 DDOs among serious collectors, so I imagine a lot of folks here would want to see if you have the real thing.

Edit: I was going to link you the PCGS page for this variety to show prices, but when I hovered over the cover photo (one of only four examples graded a PCGS 66, and valued at over $5k), I realized PCGS had actually misattributed the coin and it was in fact the far less valuable FS-107 (worth less than a 10th of the $5k this coin would be worth in a 66). Yikes, yet another installment of embarrassing PCGS misattribution screw-ups... https://www.PCGS.com/coinfacts/coin...-54-rd/38022

Your coin is showing the 50% master die doubling that affected dies on all three mints.

Note the 'IN' on your coin. So this just one of the 50% of the coins with the master die doubling. (Very common)
