Are these the years from 42-45? if so are all of them the silver or is there some of them that are the regular nickels?

Yes those are the years but in 1942 there were both versions. The easiest way to tell the difference is that the silver varieties have a large mint mark (P,D, or S) above the dome of Monticello on the reverse.

Ooops almost forgot. There are no 1942-D silver wartime nickels. Only P or S mint marks were part of the wartime set for the year 1942.

I have a little over 100 of these now.......they're a great one to collect !......
P.S.
They're 35% silver.....not 90% in case you were wondering the content exactly....but for a nickel.......that's very good !!....

Hello again DuxButt, Good news eaglefoot to have over 100 of these, then you probably have at least 1 complete set of " War Nickels" which would be 11 different coins.

1942 P
1942 S
1943 P
1943 D
1943 S
1944 P
1944 D
1944 S
1945 P
1945 D
1945 S

Then there are three of these to look more closely at.
A 1943 P with a three over two in the date referred to as 1943/2 or 1943 over 2
A 1943 P with a doubled die obvious at Jefferson's eye where it appears there are two eyes.
This is referred to as the "43 doubled eye"
A 1945 P with doubling on the reverse in the words MONTICELLO and FIVE CENTS
referred to as the doubled die reverse or doubled Monticello.

Also check for 1944 nickels without the large mint mark. These are somewhat valuable counterfeits.

There are other varieties where the mint marks are repunched and appear doubled.

Uncirculated well struck examples used to be fairly cheap but now a GEM set of all 11 can fetch around $80.00 to $140.00 and even a circulated set is worth at least $11.00.

Keep looking! You are on the right track in my book.
