Just found this a couple days ago in a recent batch of customer wrapped rolls along with a few other minor varieties that I may post later. Apologies for no pics of the full coin - I had just cracked the camera panel on my phone at the time I found it, and I just left for the school semester, so I no longer have the coin with me to photograph.

Ooh that is very nice doubling on LIBERTY and IGWT. Nice find!

That's a bruiser of a doubled die! Excellent find indeed.

@john, since the focus of the post is on the doubling rather than where the coin was found, this feels like the most appropriate subforum for this thread.

Excellent find, Sam! Isn't the 002 one of the tougher of these to find? I've found 003 and 008 but know they are two of the more common ones.

@john why? This is a variety. Many of us do our e&v hunting in rolls, but the point of the post/discussion is the coin. The way I found it is a minor footnote

@makecents I think 003 is considered one of the most common, but I believe 008 is comparable in rarity (004 is the super rare one, which, incidentally, I just made a post about PCGS's awful misattributions for...). I am excited to find this one though, since I believe it has the widest spread of any of the 1972 DDOs besides 001.
