1934 Lincoln Wheat Penny With D Mint Mark On Reverse

Chalupacabra New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 08/26/2022 7:22 pm Going through my coins and noticed a d mint mark stamp on a 1934 Wheat penny but it's on back side on the bottom edge of the penny. It's backwards and faint but I believe that it's a "d" marking. Anyone with any insight to help me would be awesome Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

The die making process eliminates that possibility altogether. The one exception to an extra letter is what is known as a "dropped letter." Yours is not this.
