Going through my coins and noticed a d mint mark stamp on a 1934 Wheat penny but it's on back side on the bottom edge of the penny. It's backwards and faint but I believe that it's a "d" marking. Anyone with any insight to help me would be awesome Thanks

There is no possible way in the minting process that extra letters, mint marks, words, figures etc. can end up on a coin before leaving the mint. The die making process eliminates that possibility altogether.
The one exception to an extra letter is what is known as a "dropped letter." Yours is not this. If interested, look up "dropped letter" at error-ref.com.
