My Sister gave me this...said she got it at a garage sale. She doesen't remember what she paid for it...but I'm guessing just a couple of bucks cuz she didn't want anything for it.
Interesting little mounded display case. The obverse has more wear...I think from trying to seat the coin in the holder whereas it was just meant to lay and stay in place when the lid was closed.
I sure do love that Sis of mine : )

@smat, that is fun. Looks like it was made at the Columbia Mint and was minted in 1976. Does yours weigh 2.4 g?

With a weight of 2.4 grams and a purity of 0.500 fine. Your little gold medal has a melt value of about $67. Nice!
