I find this dime interesting. I've seen a youtube video on the obverse die break but I haven't seen an example this extensive. furthermore, throughout the whole piece, I see doubling. I think this may be MD? but in the O I see much stronger doubling. could this infact be doubled die? I've also noticed the rim has a line going through the top right side. was it struck off center? I appreciate all input as I'm still new and would appreciate it even if you told me I'm making mountains of molehills.

Well I find this dime interesting too. The die that was used to strike this was kinda tired—lots of small die chips as you note.

good example of die chips but pretty common in that area.
