I found this in change today. I believe it is a DDO prominent in the word "LIBERTY"? Any help would be appreciated. I know it's not in the best shape, but looks like it's definitely doubled?

What attribution number do you think it might be? It looks like DDD to me.

John1 is correct. Just DDD. Note the devices are showing the affect on the sides facing the rims of the coin. (probably see on both sides of the coin) This is Stage 'A', but also note, that Stage 'B' is starting to develop on this coin. ( Ridge Ring is starting)

So this is the first I've seen with the two stages seen on the DDD. So it is transitional. But the die has many more coins to strike before retirement.

I'm thinking Die Deterioration Doubling also.

Also notice there is no evidence of notching/split serifs. That's a key characteristic of hub doubling

An attribution number is given to each variety coin so collectors can distinguish between die pairs. Here is an example: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds
