What are you seeing doubled? It looks like a normal circulated coin. The 'L' on Liberty looks like damage and the shape makes it look like a later die state with the metal movement on the die in the direction of the rim. The motto looks like a lot of circulation flattening on those devices. So it probably was a normal coin at one point in its life. The images are not showing the look of a DDO from what I can see.

It's circulation flattening. The Cent is well worn which thickens the letters.
