Slider23 Pillar of the Community United States 4469 Posts	Posted 09/04/2022 8:09 pm I am leaning toward the example being a counterfeit, some of the issues could be photo quality. The following is what I do not like about the coin: 1) Softness of strike on obverse around bench. 2) All the letters in STATES have notches at the base. 3) The base of the O in OF looks off. 4) The C in AMERICA look off. 5) Three possible large cast bumps between DOLLAR and AMERICA 6) Soft strike on Eagle's right claw. But would stay away. I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set \| Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?
