Hmmm...I hope you found it, but if I were to place my bets now, I would say it's die wear. Looking over at coppercoins, the offset direction on the date looks different. That said, you've found some very cool coins!

Very nice DDO, I would think that it would grade at least Good4 may even hit G6. What does the reverse look like.

While it could be a DDO, I see die deteriaration as well It could be a mix of both. It Has been around for a while. Dick

It sure looks like die wear to me as well, but I've been wrong before on these things.

I have to agree with Rockdude on this one looks like a form of Die Deterioration doubling snd some Machine Doubling as well. there;s clear indications on the R of trust not a rounded image as well as the other letters.the one on coppercoins site there's notching on the letters but not the ops coin Jazec

I wasn't sure until Jazz posted that last picture of the 17 DDO. That clinched it. It definitely is the doubled die.

This coin is a very obvious doubled die. I don't understand why ANYONE would be saying it's Die Deterioration Doubling or anything else. That simply doesn't make sense. Identifying die varieties and errors is NOT a guessing game. There is some science and knowledge involved. Lately I've kept my mouth shut for the better part, but this time it just ticked me off. How about KNOWING something about the subject before responding?!

OK then what am I missing? Is it the thickness of the letters?

Separation that's especially visible on the R of TRUST. Extreme thickness to the remaining letters in TRUST. The tell-tale giveaway heavy notch to the inside of the 9 of the date.
The notch on the 9 is visible down to AG grades, and is the giveaway sign to a low grade example. I would figure better images would show the separation in IGWT much better, but all the images YELL doubled die.

Well, my apologies here if I came across as disputing Coppercoins, but I'm just not very good with Lincolns doubled dies--hence my "bad bet".
