Must have been part of a bracelet? It seems to look like they were broken at the rim. Anyone ever see these?

We see these Encased Coins on here fairly often. Looks like it was jewelry (necklace?) at some point.

Looks to be in the bezel still. Not an Encased Coin per say.

Yes, they still have the bezel around the outside rim.

If the weight on the 1936 is 3.11grams, it maybe a dryer cent. (These will be smaller around on the diameter) Note how the devices are rolled over the motto devices? On the former Encased Cents the rims are flattened on these:

If the weight is over 3.11 grams, then there maybe a Bezel on on the coin?

CoopHome: Damaged, Bezel, coin rims that are altered, how to tell if they were altered post strike? Encased Coins, Dryer Coins, bezel coins, weight?

Looks like a plated normal business strike cent. The strike is the difference. The proof cent has a lot more detail on them:

The 1952 has a bezel on the coin. You can see it on the image.

yep, I agree, the bezel is intact on the coin, which if making the rim look a bit weird in the photos.

The coin was mounted onto a bezel to wear on a chain. So when they are removed from the chain, the bezel is on both coins. Addition to the coin. Not a plus for the coins. (the first two coins) [i]Best to have only one coin as it adds confusion to the thread. But when they are having the same issue. then they are understandable. The third coin is not necessary.
