I found this 1989 d penny . And I'm not sure if it's a error. Maybe on the wrong planchet or just post mint damage. Tell me what you guys think. And I'm sure you will have the answers. As you guys are the best around for information on what errors or non errors are in any coin I've ever had. Thank you to all

Put it on top of another cent and you will see the
diameter is smaller.

Ya probably. It's the same size as another penny. But it's twice as thick as another penny and it weighs.10 less than the same year penny. So if must have taken a beating in the dryer. Thanks guys

Coin is damaged for sure. Doesn't really matter how, but just a face value coin now.
